| 説明 | During 2002 I did lots of still life paintings and collected many objects to paint from charity shops. Early in in 2004 I was given a colour exercise of a still life painting of all white objects, so I took a few of my objects and painted them white with ordinary house paint. Over summer 2004, I decided to follow this up with another painting and started experimenting with composition and adding a little colour which is where the apple came in. The apple is a Golden Delicious, grown for appearance rather than flavour, so good for a painting but useless for eating. No paintings yet, but here's a photo of a composition I like. |
