| 説明 | Une première forteresse est édifiée à Villentrois au XII° siècle. Ce château fort appartient au dispositif défensif des comtes d'Anjou. Pendant deux siècles, le château appartient aux descendants d'une des plus grandes figures du Moyen-Age, Foulque-Nerra. Propriété de la famille d'Amboise au XIV° siècle, le château passe au XV° siècle à Philippe de Commynes. Commynes a complétement transformé le château, pour en faire une forteresse comparable à celle de Langeais. C'est le château actuel. Ensuite, les propriétaires ne restent pas plus d'un siècle : Les Chatillon au XVI° siècle, puis les d'Etampes, les Grange-Trianon. Après la Révolution Française le château, inhabité, ne fait plus l'objet d'aucun entretien.The first fortress was built in the twelfth century Villentrois.This castle belongs to the defensive system of the counts of Anjou. For two centuries, the castle belongs to the descendants of one of the greatest figures of the Middle Ages, Coot-Nerra. Owned by the family of Amboise in the fourteenth century, the castle passed in the fifteenth century to Philippe de Commynes. Commynes has completely transformed the castle into a fortress comparable to that of Langeais.This is the present castle. Then, the owners do not stay more than a century: The Chatillon in the sixteenth century, then Etampes, the Grange-Trianon. After the French Revolution the castle, uninhabited, no longer subject to any maintenance. |
