| 説明 | taken for the LensProToGo 52 Week Photo Project - week 25/52 - "looking downr"this was a very busy week with not much time for photography, but we had guests and took them to see the beautiful Saint-Gaudens bronze casts at the site of his visit his former home, Aspet (now national historic site) in Cornish, NH. this photo is a detail of a replica of the Shaw Memorial, by Augustus Saint-Gaudens.the angel's eyes are closed, so, technically, i guess she's not looking down -- but she's certainly watching over the soldiers...my blog post for this photo is here: grongar.wordpress.com/2012/07/17/52-weeks-looking-down-2552/ |
