| 説明 | The top of a bottle of 3 Fonteinen Schaerbeekse Kriek resting on a table in the beer garden of Gaasa pub in Oslo. We had a waiter opening the bottle with a sabre, basically cutting the top off by the neck. This technique is known as sabrage from the world of Champagne; a sabre is slid along the body of the bottle toward the neck and the force of the blade hitting the lip breaks the glass to separate the collar from the neck of the bottle. The high pressure inside the bottle, "exploding" when the top drops off, ensures that no glass fragments fall into it.And this worked for a kriek too :) |
