| 説明 | On the top floor of the monastery is a wooden sculpture depicting the Maha Gurus Heavenly Palace. (roughly translated as the Heavenly Palace of the Great Teachers, or patron saints.) This master piece was completed by the late Dungzin Rimpoche, who took five years to craft it single handed. Our hotel receptionist was very animated in explaining the meaning and significance of this wooden sculpture when he heard we were going to Pemayangtse, and told us to make ourselves aware of the various artefacts before heading there.
