説明 | Pigeonhouse Lane, East Preston ... one of the gardens on the 2012 Open Gardens Trail as part of the East Preston Festival week.I went on to work in this garden for several years, but at this point I was still working at Manor Nursery.Cyrtomium is a genus of about 15-20 species of ferns in the family Dryopteridaceae, native to Asia, Africa (including Madagascar), and the Pacific Ocean islands (Hawaii). It is very closely related to the genus Polystichum, with recent research suggesting it should be included within it (Little & Barrington).Cyrtomium falcatum is known by the common names house holly-fern and Japanese holly fern. It is native to eastern Asia.It grows from crevices in coastal cliffs, stream banks, rocky slopes, and other moist, stable areas. |
