| 説明 | A bottle of Geuze tegen de Grote Dorst Oude Geuze at café In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst in Eizeringen.This 5% abv oude geuze was actually blended by the Panneels brothers at the café, just like lambic café owners used to a hundred years ago. Based on lambics from 11 different lambic producers, they made this blend and bottled it in December 2008. Only 24 bottles were made, so this is a rare treat!The beer poured a clear golden color with a white head. It sported a nice sour ale aroma with lemon notes and barnyard. It had a fresh, sparkling mouthfeel. The flavor started out with lemon sourness, mild oak, sour berries and a bitter sour finish.A refreshing sour ale, a bit simple but very drinkable.[blog entry] |
