| 説明 | A bottle of Aphrodisiaque from Dieu du Ciel! in Montreal, Canada.Aphrodisiaque is a 6.5% abv stout brewed with vanilla beans and cocoa nibs. This particular bottle was from November 2011, so only 6 months old when I tried it.It poured black with a tan head. The aroma was dominated by cocoa and plenty of fresh vanilla, as it warmed up I also noticed some roasted notes. The mouthfeel was medium to light bodied. The flavor followed up the aroma with a massive cocoa / dark chocolate character, with a light bitterness in the finish and linger notes of vanilla.This is a massive chocolate beer, some aging could be in order to mellow the flavors a bit. |
