| 説明 | I was fascinated by this scene for several reasons: it shows a fascinating mix of old and new: the old cobble stoned street, the road narrowing as it enters an alley, the disused tram tracks (the trams run on the next road now though), modern buildings around, but still not overwhelming the historic feel to the city etc. The road is called Gürzenich Strasse, meaning Gürzenich Street. There is a historic building with the same name (Gürzenich) in Köln, which is a modern, multipurpose hall. (Jan. 2008) |
