説明 | On the descent from Hawthorn Hill to meet and cross the B4355 on the approach to Knighton the Offa's Dyke Path skirts this polished pencil of a memorial to Sir Richard Green who lived between 1803 & 1887. A Baronet, Sir Richard played a prominent role in bringing the railways to Radnor, a jolly good egg. From here its only two miles of walking into Kinghton and the pleasant weather is about to end, being chased away by a savage thunder-storm and another drenching. |
