Founded in 1968, the school has seen a sharp increase in students of Asian background over the decades, and is extremely academically competitive. I am visiting on a warm Saturday afternoon as the high school holds a fundraiser.Stacy Ann Ferguson, who is the lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas and is usually known by her stage name Fergie, is a graduate of Wilson High School.Auditions for next autumn's color guards are taking place on Monday. Wilson High School's marching band and color guard programs are among the strongest in Southern California - and I've always liked Wilson High School color guard uniforms. |
