説明 | Chisel & Mouse Willow Tearooms model. The Willow Tearooms are probably the most famous of Glasgow's many tearooms that opened around the beginning of the 20th century. They were designed entirely by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. He designed the interior, the furniture, internal layout and external architecture as well as the cutlery, menus and the waitress uniforms. The building is on Sauchiehall Street. The name "Sauchiehall" is derived from "saugh", the Scottish word for a willow tree. This provided the initial design ideas for Mackintosh and his patron Miss Cranston. Willow was the basis of the name for the tearooms and many of the decorative motifs. Stylish ornament. Perfect gift, present or souvenir. |
