| 説明 | Taken on Regent's Road.I thought it was just a monument, but it turns out that it actually has an interior, with lighting and electricity (added when it was reopened in the 1960s to rejoicing Burns fans), and is the haunt of the Edinburgh and District Burns Clubs Association, who use it for their meetings and their suppers. It was originally built to house a statue of Burns himself, but that statue is now on display in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. |
