| 説明 | unusual art-deco factory building. it's close to this hat factory, but a page with details about that one says "hat making began to decline in the 1920s", and this looks like it was built later than that; it's almost streamline style.i haven't been able to find out anything about it, but i'd love to learn why it exists - which industry was profitable enough to pay for a stylish factory instead of a plain factory? when was it built? how is the building used currently?same city as the United States Radium Corporation factory, but a different neighborhood. |
