These beastly creations haunt all of us, and are always ready to offer their destructive perspective. From a distance these monsters look almost comical, like grossly drawn caricatures of stereotypes; yet when they whisper in our ear on a dark day they feel all too real, all too familiar, and as though their perspective couldn't be anything but right. |
