| 説明 | April 23: I was so disgusted by the lumpy dough disaster I had to bake again the next day to redeem myself, despite the fact that my fever was worse than ever. It's not too evident from this angle but I'm still having trouble with "exploding" loaves. These were most likely underproofed; it was cool (below 70ºF) it the house. Also, excessive flouring on top. But very happy with the bread as a whole. I've gone back to using my smaller glass loaf pans. The bigger metal pans I got from the convent are just a little too big for me. I used the same amount of dough and got a much taller loaf. |
