説明 | At the weekend I ordered an Arduino, a display, and some buttons to make a camera controlling doofer. It cost me £46 all together from www.proto-pic.co.uk and turned up packed nicely in a plastic box on Tuesday. I couldn't wait to have a play and I got the display wired up tonight and got it running the example code that came with the display library. There wasn't much to wire up and even after a leisurely bath I managed to get it done before midnight. Only just though and the picture I took at 12:01 had the display in sharper focus but rules are rules :-).The Arduino get's it's power straight from the USB (you can wire up power seperately if you like) and it's got a 5V and 3V regulator on board with plenty of current to spare. The display is running from the 5V rail with a 91R resistor. Only the red LED or die is connected up at the mo but there's a green and blue one too. Later I'll connected the LEDs to the Arduino outputs so I can change the colour on the fly but first the buttons will be getting wired up.Photo was with the 50mm f1.8 at F6.5 on the 40D sat on a tripod, using a 2 second timer. Just a desk lamp back right for ambient light - pretty much how it's been as I've been tinckering. |
