Over the last decade or so it has also evolved to a major center for bio-technology - the buildings on this campus are HQ to a major "industrial bio-engineering" firm.There are generally considered to be three broad areas of biotechnology. The first, “Green Biotechnology”, refers to agricultural biotechnology. The second, “Red Biotechnology”, refers to pharmaceutical and medical biotechnology.
