| 説明 | Here we can see the Yard diagram as well as the OHE diagram of Parasnath (PNME) station !! A hearty thanks to S. M. , Parasnath and T. I. , Dhanbad (DHN) division , whose permission let us take this photograph !! Importance of Parasnath (PNME) station : - (a) Parasnath is a pilgrim spot where the holy temple of Parasnath , a temple dedecated to Lord Shiva is located !! (b) As a result , people from all over India (mostly from North Indian side) comes to visit this place !! (c) This resulted in increase in passenger traffic to Dhanbad division of ECR !! (d) At present , about 10 pairs of trains stops here daily on an average which includes 12301/12302 (HWH=NDLS) Rajdhani Express on regular basis ; it is a very important train of North-eastern IR region !! (e) There is a train connecting Asansol with Ahmadabad once in a week and halts here for five minutes , which has been named after this place !! Salient features of Parasnath (PNME) yard : - (a) There are five functional tracks in this yard with five platforms to facilitate passenger traffic !! (b) Platform number - 01 and track number - 05 is a common loop and it supports train service in both direction !! (c) Platform number - 02 and 03 are the first island platform corresponding to which track number - 04 and track number - 03 runs respectively !! Through these tracks only Gaya bound trains run !! Platform number - 03 and track number - 03 is the UP main track whereas platform number - 02 and track number - 04 is UP loop track !!(d) Platform number - 04 and 05 are the second island platform corresponding to which track number - 02 and track number - 01 runs respectively !! Through these tracks only Dhanbad bound trains run !! Platform number - 04 and track number - 02 is the DOWN main track whereas platform number - 05 and track number - 01 is DOWN loop track !! |
