| 説明 | just a little bit up the escarpment from the village of Teli is old Teli, the original village. older dogon villages tended to be built on higher ground, for defense against enemy tribes. but after a while, the people of Teli got sick of climbing down the cliff to go to their fields in the valley, so they moved the village downslope several decades ago. |
