| 説明 | if you look carefully, you can see structures about 1/2 way up the escarpment, hugging the cliff face. it's the remains of a tellem village. the tellem are the people who lived by the bandiagara escarpment before the dogon arrived. no one knows who they are or how they got to their villages which are always built to be inaccessable from both the valley and escarpment ridge. dogon tradition says they were pigmies and could fly. |
