| 説明 | welcome 2 hell cajonSAN DIEGO - Over the past two weeks, undercover security personnel arrested five minors believed responsible for 277 individual tagging crimes that collectively caused damage in excess of $25,000 to Metropolitan Transit System property, the transportation agency reported Tuesday. Altogether, the accused vandals, whose names were withheld because they are underage, are suspected of defacing buses, trolley cars and buildings with roughly 3,580 square feet of graffiti, according to MTS officials. Investigators identified the suspects via a regional system launched last year to track tagging crimes in the San Diego area through GPS-enabled cameras and a photo database of perpetrators' individual monikers and slogans. "This bust shows that the regional graffiti program we launched last year is having a tremendous impact," county Supervisor Greg Cox said. "Our message for graffiti vandals is simple -- there's nowhere to hide. We're going to catch you, prosecute you and make you pay for the damages you've caused."
