| 説明 | Note that the blue color tells us this is an inert round, containing no explosive. Copper/copper alloy driving band on the right was forced into the rifling of the gun barrel by the loading ram and then the smokeless powder propellent. Gas from the burning powder pushed the shell down the barrel, which rotated the band and spun the shell. Note grooves in the driving band, allowing separate 'sealing rings' to be formed as the shell was squeezed into the rifle's bore.DSC_0159 |
