| 説明 | SINGAPORE (Dec. 22, 2011) - A boy at Singapore’s Child at Street 11 care center attempts to find out if Chief Warrant Officer Marc Lefebvre is the real Santa Claus, before Sailors and Marines from the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) gave gifts to children at the care center as part of a community service project. Makin Island is currently on its maiden deployment and conducting operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations in support of the Navy’s Maritime Strategy. Makin Island is the Navy’s newest amphibious assault ship and the only U.S. Navy ship with a hybrid electric propulsion system.
