| 説明 | "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." -Genesis 3:15This verse clearly gives us the proof of Mary's Immaculate Conception. Enmity means a condition of hostility. Mary was predestined by God, but God still asked her to be the Mother of God, this shows us that we have free will. Since God told the Serpent, who embodies sin and unfaithfulness, this already gave us the idea that Mary was sinless because he put an enmity, feud, between them. This cannot be taken as Israel since Israel never gave birth to the Savior. The serpent striking His heel tells us about the Crucifixion. Even though Mary was conceived without sin she was still dependant upon the salvation through her Son’s death on the Cross. |
