Sponsored by the Office of the Chief Information Officer, the theme of the event was, “Turning the Key to Unlock and Eliminate Barriers by Providing Accessibility to All.” Section 508 applies to the development, procurement, maintenance or use of electronic and information technology allowing accessibility and awareness to promote inclusiveness to employees and the public with disabilities to information technology managed by the Federal government.
