説明 | Poa fendleriana out in the open dry assumes a shorter stature and lemmas that are less hairy, rendering a "Poa cusickii" morphology. Poa fendleriana is just visible here and there with its spike-like panicles projected a foot or so above gound level (Elymus elymoides is the small bunchgrass to the front and right). Artemisia arbuscula (little sagebrush) is the short-statured shrub to the left. Artemisia tridentata subsp. vaseyana (or something akin to mountain big sagebrush) sits to the right. |
