| 説明 | It was a 40 minute walk from Dedham to Flatford across the Dedham Vale.Located at the heart of Constable Country and situated on the River Stour, you will find the former wealthy wool and market town of Dedham.The River Stour forms the boundary between Essex and Suffolk and provides the many tourists visiting the Dedham Vale area with some stunning scenery. This remarkable landscape also features in many of John Constable’s paintings.The Water Meadows of the River Stour make for interesting and relaxing walks, with cattle and horses grazing nearby.So popular is the village that it attracts visitors young and old from across the world and gets very busy during the summer months.Dedham Vale is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Essex-Suffolk border in east England. It comprises the area around the River Stour between Manningtree and Bures, including the village of Dedham in Essex. It is part of the area known since the artist's lifetime as Constable Country, as it was made famous by the paintings of John Constable.Flatford is a small hamlet close to East Bergholt in Suffolk. It is most famous for Flatford Mill, Willy Lott's Cottage and Bridge Cottage, immortalised in the paintings of John Constable. |
