Price £26 14s 4d.The original 1950s version of the BSA R9 cost quite a bit less, £15 16s 2d with single gear, 17 guineas for SA 3-speed model, but the above 1962 version in green had a dynohub and lamps fitted as standard, as in the top photos on this pageWhat the bicycle looks like in real life (minus chain guard and fitted basket) may be observed in this modern photo by @katjungMy mother rode hers for over 40 years, now sold. |
