MEADE, Md. - Country music star Blake Shelton performed a special concert for military service members and their guests, and Department of Defense civilians and their guests for more than an hour Sept. 2 on the Fort Meade Parade Field, which was transformed into a concert venue as part of the U.S. Air Force Reserve’s Tour for the Troops. Shelton told the crowd, “I’m honored to be here.” Shelton also made an exception for the military crowd by dedicating a song, which he said he does not normally do. “This song seemed right for those of us here at Fort Meade with family and friends overseas.” (U.S. Army photo by Jason Kelly)(Released) |
