| 説明 | This restaurant-bar is about a block from my workplace. "Bienvenue aux dames" means "WELCOME LADIES". As I understand it, Quebec only forced restaurants and bars to allow women in a few years ago. You see this kind of sign on a lot of bars, but not too many restaurants. I went and had lunch with Niko here (good fish and chips -- it was Friday), but I'm not sure he agreed with the policy of men and women eating together. |
