My first ever gift from a student. I received this while observing a class last semester. I cannot wait to teach!7. A pencil from IKEA in Pittsburgh, PA8. A strange little lizzard I ended up with after a mission trip to Crow Agency, MT9. My first ever Nikon (Coolpix S550)10. Wacky paper clips11. My "first day of school" bracelet my mother gave me when I was little. I plan to restring it so I can wear it on my "first day of teaching." 12. My high school diploma. Yep. That's it.13. Six oragami paper stars. I love making these!14. A random knob (like from a cabinet door) that flew from the street as a car passed by my mother and I on our first real night of conversation in Florida this past summer. I'm keeping this thing forever. It's a sign.15. My keys: to my VW Jetta, home with Fred Flair monsters, books-a-million rewards card, and a keychain fish that reads: "faith, hope, love"16. My cell phone, of course. 17. I love movies. Here are ticket stubs from "Bad Teacher," that I saw with my mother (with no one else in the theater!) and "The Hangover 2," that I saw with friends early this summer. 18. My $40 pair of Fossil aviators. Hey, this night blind girl has to have some SPF protection... the sun is killing my eyesight. Best to fight that in vogue.19. Dinosaur silly-bands. Oh yes, and a seahorse.20. $0.57... so I have $2.57 to my name.21. Oh and a shilling... but I'm American and I have not the slightest clue what that's worth. 22. A spy glass. Now, I'm not Nancy Drew or anything (though, I do love her style!) I keep this to remind myself to examine my heart. (No, not to read my diploma; my eyesight isn't that poor, yet.)23. The ballerina bunny my mother gave me years ago when I used to dance. I wonder why I ever stopped dancing. This is a reminder to dance... dance like no one is watching. 24. ...I'm pretty sure I stole this pen from somewhere.25. The new wallet I bought in Florida back in June. 26. My favorite lipstick. Oh shut up. I want a husband ...one of these days. 27. One of the best little reminders I could find for myself. This card reads: "If a problem isn't worth praying about, it's not worth worrying about." This is too perfect for me. 28. My prayer journal... which I plan to wear out. 29. Plastic butter from my childhood. Don't ask questions. Just go with it. We were separated for a long time... we never said I don't have problems.30. And finally my Miche bag. The outter shells come off and interchange. The pattern you're viewing has been discontinued. I rock vintage. |
