| 説明 | A Schultheiss Bierdeckel from 1970, with the beer's signature of a mayor with Amtskette (chain of office), holding a bier stein close to the viewer.The Schultheiss brewery was founded in 1842. The 125 year message fits the 1970 date. From mergers, Schultheiss now produces most of Berlin's major brands of beer. It is part of the Radeberger group, which in turn is a unit in the Dr. Oetker conglomerate. I met a real German mayor (of a much smaller city) on a later trip. I asked him if he had an Amtskette. He picked up a mallet, which is used to open beer barrels ! |
