| 説明 | Built on a scenic spot on the shores of Lake Como in 1928, Wood’s Cabin continues to be one of the most popular cabin rentals on the Bitterroot National Forest. Many people reserve the cabin a year in advance and enjoy stunning views of Lake Como and the snowcapped peaks of the Bitterroot Mountains. Thanks to ARRA funding, the cabin received a much needed face-lift in 2011. The major renovation involved restoring the cabin to its historic nature by replacing the roof with pentagon-shaped shingles, removing the rock chimney and installing the original double doors on the front of the cabin, repairing the interior hardwood floors, preserving the ice house through stabilization, and improving drainage around the cabin. |
