| 説明 | by George Sherrin (1843-1909) above the More Gate entrance of Lincoln’s Inn, at thecorner of Carey St. and Serle St.Sherrin is better known for the London Oratory, but less so for an estate of large houses near to Ingatestone Station in Essex, where Sherrin lived as well as the Kursal or Kursaal in Southend-on-Sea and some tube stations in West London.
