| 説明 | NASA modeling of a coronal mass ejection (CME) that erupted from the sun just after 11 PM EDT on June 20. The CME is traveling towards Earth at over 170,000 miles per hour, but should have only moderate impact on Earth’s magnetosphere. There’s some potential for aurora on or about June 23. These 3D Heliospheric animated models, developed by the Community Coordinated Modeling Center based at the Goddard Space Flight Center, show how the CME cloud might appear as it sweeps past Earth.
