| 説明 | I'm not sure what happened but all of a sudden.... daybreak! OK so maybe I should back up a bit.We were supposed to leave Friday afternoon about 6pm, but when I got home from work I found out someone, (we shouldn't point fingers (budman} it's not nice, but I got a grip and didn't spoil the weekend by starting it off haranguing him into a crappy mood), had not done any of the packing, laundry, errands, etc, that he had promised to do. I was supposed to get out of work, come home, throw the last of my clothes in my bag, and woohoo out the door we go. Well that didn't happen, we were up way too late the night before (me on flickr) and an hour after I left for work, he took a nap.... until I got home! Then he was sluggish and trying hard to not be cranky (because he knew how hard I was biting my tongue) and basically we got out the door several hours later than planned. Then we had to stop for gas, ice, soda, money machine etc, so we didn't get to the club land until almost 1am. (I think it was around then, I was so tired I made ladydragonflycc keep me company on the phone until we were about 10 miles from the land lost signal... thanks woman! you saved me:)We rolled in, unpacked the car, got the travel trailer open & set up ready for the weekend, when the first cannon fired and someone lit the bonfire across the pond. Our favorite pyro plays with big fireworks and cannons all night long so were used to it, and we sat across the pond on the little dock enjoying the show and taking pictures of the fire reflecting off the water. The next thing I know it's daybreak... the birds started up, the sky got lighter, and dawn arrived! I was dog tired when we arrived and expected to be out within the hour, so was a bit surprised to find myself there on the dock still awake. I only took about 10 more shots after this one before we went to bed for a few hours, and that's when my friday finally ended. |
