| 説明 | This photo was taken at a place called the Devil's Cauldron at Whale Beach on the Northern Beaches. I was accompanied by a work colleague of mine,Vic Feferberg whose own photo stream you can view at www.flickr.com/photos/vicfefer/.It was an early morning shoot which meant getting up at 4am on a cold Autumn Sydney morning.But it was worth it. This photo was taken with the intention of capturing a wave as it hit the rocks as it entered the 'cauldron'. I would have loved to get a bit closer to the action but the rocks were slippery,the swell was about 1m and I wasn't going to risk my camera gear for that 'perfect shot' for a fear of falling into the cauldron.
