| 説明 | CARRIER: ALBERTO GAITÁN With Elliot Williams Tue May 3 – Sat Jun 18 /Free / Mezz GalleryOpening Reception: Thu May 5, 5:30-7:30pm / Free Artist Alberto Gaitán’s site-specific interactive sound installation, Carrier, turns Artisphere’s Mezz Gallery wall into a 100-foot-long stringed instrument to be played by a robotic scrubber. The installation will be semi-interactive with passers-by, changing its behavior when someone is in proximity but not responding to them in a continuous manner. Visitors will be able to listen to and interact vocally with the exhibit, which will record and play back sound after circulation and processing through the installation. |
