| 説明 | This is the aircraft that was operating Asiana 214 on 6 July 2013 when it crashed in San Francisco - only the second hull loss, and the first-ever fatality, in the service history of the Boeing 777.A few hours earlier, this aircraft had arrived as Asiana 204. Now empty, it is being moved to the overflow parking in the area at the west end of the airport, as it will not be departing until after midnight. It is right behind a Korean Air 747, which is being moved at the same time for the exact same reasons. (I hate the Korean Air - Asiana duopoly on most Seoul-US routes!)I had flown on this particular aircraft twice, in October 2008 and December 2008, both times as it operated Asiana 204, the evening departure from Seoul Incheon arriving in Los Angeles mid-afternoon the same day.This aircraft was delivered right before Asiana redesigned its livery in 2006; as a result, it is one of the last Asiana aircraft still wearing the original 1988 Landor livery.
