But by the time they returned to the Town And Country Club a month later, the Pixies had gone nuclear and overtaken their mentors. Frabjous days! More good T&C gigs tin 1989 - the Muses, supported by The Sundays (in the midst of Sundaysmania!), and the Pixies supported by Wolfgang Press. But for me nothing will ever compare with the intimacy and intensity of the Pixies at the Old Trout in Windsor, August 1990. |
