| 説明 | I’m walking back up the beach after shooting some long exposure shots on a jetty in Asbury Park, and I pass Johnny, sitting on a battered beach chair, surrounded by plastic bags, and strangely, a paperback crossword puzzle book on his lap. I nod, he nods, I ask, What are you doing, sitting here in the cold?“I do this every day, rain, shine, summer, winter, this is my spot.”No work?“100% disabled from years ago..........Nam.”No shit, me too, but not the disabled part.“ I was a demo man, I loved blowing things up”I was a Huey gunship crewchief.“No shit, you must have been crazy.We both laughed.“What were you doing out on the jetty? I thought you might be thinking about jumping in, standing so still, looking out across the water.”I was just taking some long exposure pictures, it is a little crazy.“Yea, I figured it was something like that.”Mind if I take you picture?“Go right ahead, who cares?”We shoot the breeze awhile, watch some guy run up and down the beach, “A boxer” Johnny says, “does it every day, he might be crazy too.”“Stop by again, I’m here every day”I think I will. |
