| 説明 | This morning I met slogrl and the KID at Yardsale's for pre-garagesale breakfast (bagels = thanks slogrl; coffee = thanks yardsale). Yardsaling (new verb; yes, i know) was fun and I got a questionable ceramic bird (fifty cents, c'mon!) and fake white fur fer I dunno what yet. As you can see here, the KID got a sassy new pair of ears. She's promised to let me borrow them when needed. I heart that KID, I tell you. The two of us were singing all kinds of songs all morning.But the best part of the morning was being able to tag along for the birth of new boots at the boot fence. The KID had outgrown her sassy red kickers, and so to the fence they went.Yardsale was documenting the event as well.And look at them weeds! These will be brown in a matter of weeks and will require a great mowing.[fwiw: my monitor's color and constrast are all off; i have no idea what this looks like "for real." my fingers are cross.] |
