Bound in foil-stamped leather and housed in a glass jar, 4 cm (1.5625 in) in diameter, 4.4 cm (1.75 in) deep when closed, 190.5 cm (75 in) opened out.– The rhyming verse: Jim loved letters From the start Letterforms Became his art: Drawing, painting, Laying tiles, Endlessly Inventing styles, Letters of All different kinds For the words Of clever minds. A. Dwiggins: A Life in Design. Electrical Three was renamed LfA Aluminia and is available in our online shop.Jim Parkinson (1941–2025) was an Oakland-based lettering artist and type designer. He specialized designing and repairing logos for magazines and newspapers.
