| 説明 | In Asian countries, personal seals can legally be used in lieu of a signature. Any self-respecting Korean will have a personal seal made, even if s/he uses signatures exclusively. Characters would have to be artistically morphed to discourage counterfeiting, of course.At this kiosk, I can get my own seal starting at ₩2,000, and it can include Chinese characters, Japanese kana, or Roman alphabet in addition to Hangul. Morphing of my name will be done with the aid of a computer. |
