説明 | Cryptantha spiculifera is common throughout lowland Wyoming big sagebrush steppe of the Upper Snake River Plains and is likewise common in upper elevation sagebrush steppe of Big Southern Butte, Butte County, Idaho. This site lies along the western ridgeline of Big Southern Butte. The multi-stemmed growth form is unusual for this species, but the four roughened nutlets surpassed in length by the style (not photographed) are distinctive of Cryptantha spiculifera. Poa secunda is the common grass that is turning brown. |
