| 説明 | We had a wonderful time at the No Kings rally at Tam Junction in Mill Valley, joining our neighbors to protest Trump’s power grabs and military coup!Enjoy this photo from our rally. It featured a Trump puppet riding my e-bike, on a mad rampage to destroy the Earth. We scolded him and plastered Stop Trump signs all over him. People chanted along with us, posed for selfies and danced to the toe-tapping “No Kings in the USA” song. I created this float to inspire people with a bit of art, theater and music. We had a captive audience at the off-ramp of Hwy 101 at Stinson Beach, where hundreds of cars were stuck in traffic on their way to the beach. This gave us a chance to engage over a thousand passers-by to take joyful action to take back our country. They loved our displays and honked continuously, with big smiles and thumbs up. Many rolled down their windows to voice their support. The positive energy was contagious and we clearly made an impact, reaching over a thousand people in just a few hours.Kudos to everyone at Indivisible Marin for organizing this productive outreach, with special thanks to Gayle Donsky and her husband Mort Stein, our outstanding site leaders, who provided wonderful creative and logistical guidance — as well as to Susan Morgan and her team for making all this possible. Thanks as well to Indivisible co-founders Ezra Levin and Leah Greenberg for leading the charge nationally with their team, and inspiring us all to take action!And special thanks to our creative friends at Pataphysical Studios for helping create the Stop Trump float; they include our art partners Freddy Hahne (who loaned us his Trump puppet), Howard and Judy Rheingold (who provided Trump’s platform), and my gracious wife Phyllis (who created much of the signage) — and our dear friend Vi©kisa (who provided moral support). Tip of the hat as well to the Shady Ladies who joined us to greet our audience, sing along our anthem and scold our Trump puppet; they include their leader BJ Martin, Donna Moynihan and Alison Quoyeser.
