| 説明 | Hey, Devon! The story behind this photo is.... (by Richie)It was taken in the Spring of 1980 at the Enterprise grammar school. It was a community-wide talent show.We were called something like, "The Dandy Four" or "Four Dandelions." I forget. Maybe Gordon remembers?We sang three songs. (I only remember two of them, but Gordon says we sang, "In The Still of the Night" with him on lead.The other songs we sang, was "Sloop John B" by the Beach Boys. (I sang the base part.)For the third song/songs this is what happened.We went on the stage and Gordon said "For our first song we will sing that class Three Blind Mice."I interrupted him and said, "Excuse me, Gordon, I thought we agreed we were going to sing, "Row Row Your Boat?" Then, Brian piped up and said, "Wait a minute, I've been practicing "Frere Jacque" and Matt added he was practicing, "Shoes to mend, old shoes to mend."This lead to a (ahem) "faked" discussion/argument! EmojiI said, "I' stickin with what I've been practicing and began singing "Row Row your boat."After the first line of that, Brian joins me singing, "Frere Jacque" and then Matt starts "Shoes to mend" and then Gordon sings, "Three Blind Mice."It all miraculously came together and we had some nice harmonies!
