| 説明 | Cercocarpus ledifolius is most abundant on open dry rocky ridgelines in the Copper City trail area, Broadwater County, Montana. Narrowly elliptical coriaceous leaves with inrolled margins and with glabrate upper surfaces and lanate lower surfaces are distinctive of this nitrogen-fixing Rosaceae shrub species. Lesica (2022) underscores that browsing by deer results in intricately branched impenetrable shrubs, which is the case for these shrubs in the Copper City populations. |
