| 説明 | It's Bluebell season in King's Wood Forest in Kent. This is my first time seeing such thick carpets of bluebells, it really is something else seeing these in person. Sadly, what I saw with my eyes was not easy to capture with the camera, somehow the high contrast blue/purple flowers just don't show up the same way as it does in person. In real life, the bluebells were dominating the scene and the low hanging sun created an enchanted feel; in the photos both on camera and phone, the green of the grass dominated, while the high contrast purple were almost gone. Processing this was difficult but I think I've managed to create what I want by reducing greens and yellows, more contrast, and reduced shadows. I had a look on Flickr search to see how everyone else manages their bluebell photos and... it varies! So glad I'm not alone. |
